Tuff Doors was founded in January 2000 and is owned by Herman Grobler, Gert van Tonder and Stan Gey van Pittius.

The all-pervading atmosphere when entering the Harrismith-based Tuff Doors manufacturing facility can only be described as “proactive urgency”. There is no panic or desperation among the staff, instead the production line is under self-induced pressure to keep the work flowing, and flow it does.
